Dennis Higgins began his career in the optical industry in 1965 working for Imperial Optical on Queens Avenue in London, Ontario.

Technology was not then what it is today.  Lenses were made from glass alone and opticians were taught to grind lenses from raw glass to the finished product.

Because of his strong technical ability, he was offered a position with Ralph Cummins of Cummins Optical.  Here he learned from a master, the art of dispensing eyewear.

In 1975 Dennis purchased Cummins Optical naming it “Cummins-Higgins Opticians”.

Between 1975 and today Dennis Higgins has built a loyal clientele while successfully anchoring his business in the downtown London core.  His newest store, inspired by a buying trip to New York City carries the most unique and stylish frames available in the London area today.
